About FlexRide:

FlexRide is a Taxi hailing and Rideshaing platform bringing passengers and drivers together hence easing the booking of Taxi rides and RideShare trips

FlexRide currently offers two services: Taxi hailing and RideSharing (or Carpooling)

FlexRide currently operates only in the nation of Cameroon

General Questions:

RideSharing is when a driver and passengers meet to share a vehicle on a prescheduled trip to a shared destination. Specifically, a driver posting a RideShare might also has the need to take this trip and to personally go to the destination, even if they have no passengers. Drivers set the price per seat and passengers after booking a seat pays the driver the cost per seat accordingly

The two major users of the FlexRide platform are the passengers and drivers. Passengers can refer to the "Ride With Us" section of our website while drivers can refer to the "Join to Drive" page of our website for more detail steps on how to use our services

There isn't no fix age restriction. But FlexRide will encourage its user to be of an adult age - being able to make decisions for themselves. Parents are encouraged to keep watch are thier children and ensure they are fit to use our services. For drivers, the required documents must be submitted before approval

This is a great opportunity for all our users to help in building the FlexRide community. Upon completion of every Taxi ride or RideShare trip, both the passengers and driver will have the opportunity to leave a rating and review comments for each other. Within the app, follow the instructions upon completion of every ride and trip to provide the much needed feedback

Payment and Pricing:

For this release, only Cash payment will be used by our users. Passengers will pay in cash to drivers upon completion of every ride or trip. We seek to add other method in subsequent releases

For this release, FlexRide won't be collecting any fees or commission from its user. Using the services of the platform is completely free for all use but FlexRide hold the right to make changes to this aspect in later releases

One of the major aspect about the FlexRide Taxi service is that the fares are not set by FlexRide but it's set after a NEGOTIATED exchange between the driver and passenger. Passenger upon requesting a ride, gives a fare offer. Driver upon review can either accept or give a counter fare offer. Upon both parties coming to a agreed fare, that amount is set as the price for the ride

For the RideShare trips, the driver sets the price per seat. FlexRide encourages drivers to keep the price within the fair market price so as to get the much needed passengers for thier individual trips

Account & Data:

Users can edit their account information by clicking the << Settings >> button under the << My Profile >> section. From the pop-up form, edit details and then submit

Users can delete their respective accounts by clicking the << Delete Account >> button under the << My Account >> section. Fill the form with reason for account deletion and then submit

Users should refer the the << Privacy Policy >> page to learn more on how FLexRide will handle the personal date of its users

Safety:

FlexRide seeks to ensure its platform is safe for all users. To achieve this, We take three key steps:

1. Driver’s Documents Verification
Each driver is required to submit three documents: Drivers License, National ID Card and Car Registration Certificate. This information is carefully look upon by the FlexRide Team before driver approval. NOTE:For passengers, registration is done using their respective phone numbers. For now, we rely on the fact that each phone number is properly registered by the owner. In later releases, we might have to further enhance the verification process of passengers.

2. Ratings   Review by FlexRide members
As a user (driver or passenger), you can rate each other for every ride you give or take with FlexRide. Passengers are evaluated on their courtesy and punctuality, while drivers are rated on the comfort and safety of the ride, their courtesy, and their punctuality. The ratings   review is freely done by the user without influence from FlexRide. The overall ratings and reviews for each user is visible to all other user for each ride and trip. Users are expected to make the most of this before booking a ride or a trip.

3. Quality control
We take our members’ feedback very seriously! Our agents collect and process the ratings that members fill out online or by phone and in some cases might proactively contact a new driver's first passengers to hear their comments. This allows us to do an immediate follow-up if necessary.

Advertising:

Looking to advertise a good or service to the entire FlexRide community via the in-app banner advert portal, reachout to the FlexRide team for instructions on how to proceed. Contact us via the "Quick Contact" form on our website, phone or email

For Passengers:

It's very easy and straighforward. Refer to the << Getting Started For Passengers >> section on our website to get detailed instructions

- Arrive five minutes early to give you enough time to meet your driver
- Have exact amount in cash on you for the cost of the ride or trip
- Keep our phone number (& contact details) on you or use the "Support" feature in users account and reachout to us if there’s anything!

For every Taxi ride or RideShare trip detail page, there is a << Phone Call >> icon and << Chat >> icon. So, as a passenger, reachout to the driver via calling using the << Phone call >> button or sending a chat message via the << Chat >> button.

NOTE: Chat messaging is In-App and no extra cost is required whereas local phone rates might apply for the phone calls

"The quickest thing to do in order to get more driver responding to your Taxi ride request is by increasing your fare offer amount. Since the fare determination on FlexRide is based on a negotiation, by increasing your fare offer amount, more driver will gain interest .

Also, passengers are encourage to act and behave in a manner that will ensure they get top rating and good reviews from the drivers. This will improve their credibilty on the platform and ease getting the ride request accepted by drivers "

Post a RideShare Trip request. Multiple drivers will see request and respond accordingly

We always encourage passengers to first check if there is an existing trip for their intended destination posted by a driver. If none exist, the passenger can then go ahead and initiate a new trip request

Passengers can give ratings and reviews for a driver immediately the ride or trip is marked as complete. You will see a button to click and then submit your rating and review

Taxi RIde:

Passengers can cancel the booking at anytime before the ride is mark as completed by the driver. For every cancellation, the passenger must provide a reason for cancelling the booking. The reason provided by passenger will be useful in cases of a cancellation dispute hence passengers are encourage to cancel only when it's highly necesary and ensure it will not impact the driver

RideShare Trips:

Passengers can cancel their seat resevations at anytime before driver starts the trips. Passengers are encouraged take the planning done by drivers into consideration and at best cancels 24 hrs before the trip starts

The Taxi ride fare is based on a negotiation scheme between the passenger and driver whereas the RideShare trip price per seat is set by the driver

If you still have the driver details with you, reachout to the driver as soon as possible otherwise reachout to us and we will put you in touch with the driver right away to collect your item

You can book more than one seat in a RideShare trip using your account if you are travelling with a friend. However, you cannot book a seat for another person using your passenger account. The driver has access to the contact information on your account and may refuse any passenger that he or she can't identify.

If someone you know wants to use FlexRide, you can refer them to download the app and register accordingly.

For Drivers:

Three categories exist for Car drivers and a single category for Motorbikes drivers. Car drivers categories include:

- Basic
- Economy
- Luxury

NOTE: The "Basic" category is as the name goes - has to do with the most most basic and standard cars without gaurantee of extra amenities within the car. The "Economy" is a step higher than the "Basic" with cars having some higher level of confort and extra amenities within the car as well. Finally, the "Luxury" category is the topmost of them all - includes the newest set of cars, extra amenties to gaurantee confort of its passengers. The category each driver is placed within is determined during the driver registration process by FlexRide

For Motorbike riders: - Bike Category

- Arrive five minutes early to give you enough time to meet your passengers - Ensure passengers seat on their respective booked seats and no overloading - Keep our phone number (& contact details) on you or use the << Support >> feature in users account and reachout to us if there’s anything!

All new Taxi ride request listings will be found in the "Ride Request" subtab of the driver app home screen. Click on the listing, review the details and either accept or reject accordingly

All new RideShare trip request listings will be found in the "Trip Request" subtab of the driver app home screen. Click on the listing, review the details and either accept or reject accordingly

There is NO such limit to the number of RideShare trips each driver can post or how many RideShare trip request each driver can accept. BUT we do admonished drivers to only post and/or accept RideShare trips or request which they are 100% confident they will be able to fulfill. In scenarios whereby the driver is in doubts, the driver can post or accept a request but the driver should ensure to follow the cancellation guidelines mentioned in the << Terms of Service >> page so as not to have thier accounts blocked or have extra fees

FlexRide encourages all driver to select a location that is easily accesible to the general public and well known as well

Drivers can give ratings and reviews for their passengers immediately after the ride or trip is marked as complete. You will see a button to click and then submit your rating and review accordingly

Drivers should be able to cancel the Taxi ride anytime after the ride is book and in active status. For every cancellation, drivers are encourage to provide a suitable reason

Drivers can cancel the trip at anytime 24 hrs before the start of the trip. WIthin 24 hrs to the start of the trip, if no passengers have book any seats, then the driver can cancel the trip. But if there are seats already book by poassenger within the 24 hrs to the start of the trip, then the driver cannot cancel the trip from the app. The driver will have to contact FlexRide Admin, provide a convincing reason why the trip should be cancelled. The FlexRIde Admin will make the final decision to either cancel or not to cancel the trip. Hence, drivers are encoureage to only post a trip for which they are 100% sure to fulfill.

In cases whereby a driver cancels mutiple trips, FlexRide holds the right to take any action against the driver at anytime.

Payments should be collected in Cash at the completion point of the respective ride or trip of the passenger

The quickest thing to do in order to get more passengers is by keeping fare offers at the fair market rate. By doing so, more passengers will seek to accept your offer and also book seats for scheduled trips

Also, drivers are encourage to act and behave in a manner that will ensure they get top rating and good reviews from the passengers. This will improve their credibilty on the platform and ease getting more passengers in the future

Driver should reachout to the passenger. If no respond from the passenger after waiting for a maximum of 10mins, driver can cancel the ride or mark the passenger as not available for a RideShare trip

You can't share your driver account. If someone you know wants to use FlexRide as a driver, you can refer them to our website to see the steps needed to register as a driver

Release Notes:

This section is meant to keep track of the known issue for every release and the potential workarounds to the known issues. We seek to ensure that our Apps are properly tested before release to the public but for a missed issues, we will endeavor to keep track of them here and their workarounds while we proceed with a fix.
